Zuzana De Jonghe is an author and translator of biblical texts specializing in Biblical Hebrew and the Paleo-Hebrew script. She is also the lecturer for all online courses soon available on this website and the facilitator of its non-formal educational programmes. In addition, she speaks at live events and conferences. Her work draws on formal studies in biblical studies, many years of research into biblical prophecy, and extensive study of the Torah, Biblical Hebrew, and materials produced by the Ancient Hebrew Research Center.

She approaches the ancient texts of the Torah, Nevi’im, Ketuvim, and related writings as historical records that should be read within their original linguistic, cultural, and historical contexts.

Drawing on many years of experience presenting in Belgium’s multicultural and interfaith environment, she develops interactive non-formal educational programmes that remain religiously neutral and non-proselytising. The programmes are based on the earliest available texts, the Paleo-Hebrew script, and the linguistic world of Biblical Hebrew. They are offered exclusively as cultural, historical, and linguistic study. The programmes are available in Slovak and English and may also be presented in Dutch upon request.

The materials on this website invite both Slovak- and English-speaking readers to explore the biblical text through its language, structure, and concrete imagery.

Like her translations and educational programmes, the online courses personally taught by Zuzana focus on the original text of Scripture within its historical, linguistic, and cultural contexts. They are not affiliated with any religious community, denomination, or doctrinal tradition. Her books include engaging titles for families with children as well as more advanced works for biblically knowledgeable readers.

Zuzana’s husband, Philip, assists her with the design of the website, books, magazine, and presentations, while also providing technical support. He draws on his education and practical experience in fields including product design and web technologies. For this reason, the name intercessor.team naturally reflects the collaborative nature of their work.
